Richard Branson (Virgin) : Why starting a business is a 24/7 job

Noticia leída en Virgin (concretamente aquí)
"Do you have what it takes to make it as an entrepreneur? Well, you'll never know until you give it a try - but you've got to be prepared to work at it 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Richard Branson recently gave entrepreneur.com an insight into a day in his life while travelling in the US. He explained to Rod Kurtz how starting a business isn't something to be taken lightly.
When questioned on whether he could recall his own early days as a young businessman, the Virgin Founder said: "I remember them vividly. It's far more difficult being a small-business owner starting a business than it is for me with thousands of people working for us and 400 companies."
"Building a business from scratch is 24 hours, 7 days a week, divorces, it's difficult to hold your family life together, it's bloody hard work and only one word really matters -- and that's surviving."
In the social media age, news spreads faster than ever and businesses need to be even more agile to change than in the past.
Entrepreneur.com wondered what keeps Branson going, when he has already accomplished so many goals. He answered simply: "Most entrepreneurs are not doing it for financial motives in the first place. They're just people who love creating."
